im home bc i am on disability for bipolar disorder and a medical reason i hate it bc i have always worked yet i like it when the kids r home durin the summer time when i worked i managed all the same things just fine i miss workin i loved it

Oh I agree. I am kind of a stay at home mom but my kids are in school, so I am back in school and subbing right now. Even though I do all this, I still have all the household responsibilities. Crazy!

yep my hubby works and comes home and that is all for his day. my job as a stay at home mom is 24 hours a day 7 days a week with no lunch breaks or weekends, I have to manage the kids, housework, bills, and even cut the grass and somehow manage to make dinner. Much more is put on stay at home moms

Being home during the day sure makes doing these things easier although you are going much further than I ever did. But yes, by default I became the person to handle the family business when I began staying at home.
